What we do

Not only does the Squadron have its own programme of activities, it also takes part in other events with other squadrons from not just within Edinburgh & South Scotland Wing but also from all across Scotland and the UK.  This provides an ideal opportunity to meet new people and make new friends.  At the same time cadets learn new skills, develop their leadership abilities and above all have fun doing things they would not normally get the chance to.

Recent activities have included:
  • Gliding at Arbroath
  • Powered flying at RAF Leuchars
  • A weekend camp at RAF Leuchars
  • A weekend camp at Barry Buden Military Training Area
  • A week's outward bounds camp at Halton Training Camp in Lancashire
When we meet
Based in our own building next to the Dunblane Centre, the Squadron meets every Monday and Wednesday night between 19:00 and 21:30.

The evening is split into 2 sections with a canteen break at 20:00.  Recent Squadron Night activities have included:
Work towards Duke of Edinburgh Awards (Bronze, Silver and Gold), First Aid Projects, we are currently building a flight simulator and Target Shooting.
